Singha Corporation Identity Redesign

In 2020, we had a chance to reconfigure the Singha Corp.’s brand identity from brand vision to brand personality and as well as the logo and corporate identity. The first thing we did was to rework on the iconic “Singha” symbol, with our respect to their brand value and culture, the minimum face-lifted approach was used to make the curves and lines in the symbol more clear and open. As well as, adjusting the grid placement and optical alignment.

The logo usage was the main focus in the beginning. To create the impact and visibility, we proposed the logo responsive system to be used on all platforms.

The small application version of the symbol is a simplified version of the official symbol as you can see that the lines are reduced to the minimal but still retrain the Thai sensibility from the original line art.

The most challenging task was to create the favicon version of the symbol to fit in 16 x 16 pixels. But the outcome was quite satisfying.

We also came up with new direction on color system, typography system, and graphic and pattern system and apply to all touch points and applications. The whole identity package took one year to complete and Singha Corporation had launched this new identity in early 2022.
